น่าสนใจมากครับ

ทั้ง 2 ชุด ขาดความละเมียดละไมของ prog ต้นฉบับไปหน่อย และมีอิทธิพลของ Billy Sherwood ค่อนข้างมาก ทั้งนี้ การมีนักดนตรีชื่อดังมาร่วมงานหลายคน ไม่ได้เป็นเครื่องค้ำประกันว่า งานจะออกมาดีนะครับ

เคยฟังแต่ Back againt the wall รู้สึกว่าตกอยู่ในสภาพเดียวกับ tribute album ทั่วไปคือทำออกมาแล้วแย่กว่าต้นฉบับ ไม่รู้ทำออกมาทำไม ค่าลิขสิทธิ์ก็ต้องจ่าย เอานักดนตรีดังมาเล่นเยอะๆ อย่างนี้ แล้วจะหากำไรจากไหน จะ tribute ทั้งที ก็ควรจะให้เกียรติต้นฉบับเขาบ้าง ผมว่า Bill Sherwood ก็ไม่ต่างจาก Trever Rabin ที่ชอบทำลายสิ่งที่ดีที่เขาทำไว้แล้ว

เท่าที่ฟังมา มี Tribute Album น้อยมากที่ทำได้ดี ก็เป็นเรื่องที่ต้องทำใจอยู่แล้ว มียกเว้นอยู่ไม่กี่ชุด เช่น Tales From Yestersay ซึ่งทำได้ดีมากๆ
  สำหรับ Tribute ของ Billy Sherwood น่าจะทำได้ดีกว่านี้ บางเพลงทำได้ดีมาก แต่บางเพลงก็งั้นๆ ไม่ใช่มาตรฐานเดียวกัน อาจเป็นเพราะ Billy sherwood อยากมีส่วนร่วมมากเกินไป ถ้าทำโดยไม่มีผลประโยชน์ร่วมมากเกินไป และไม่มี Bias ในการเลือกนักดนตรี ผลงานจะดีกว่านี้มากครับ
