I must say that Dream Theatre did quite a fine job in covering Elton John's Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding. Therefore, as an Elton John fan, i think they should cover more of Elton's songs.

As i am quite a Beatle Fan, maybe you could possibly tell me if the Beatles' have any progressive song. Maybe this would help me understand Progressive Rock better.

As i am kind of new to this "Progressive music," i was wondering of what are the elements that makes a song progressive? Is it the lyrics? Is it the complexity of its music? What is it exactly? Or in other words, what is the Definition of Progressive Music? In addition, could anyone tell me the brief history of Progressive music? I would really appreciate it.

I would like some advice on how to listen to progressive Songs. You see i am not a real progressive Fan, but i still would like to listen to these kinds of music. If each of you could recommend 5 songs for me to listen, that would be a real help. Five songs that you think a Progressive beginner would like to hear.
