ล่าสุดก็ตามงานของ Steve Earle อยู่บ้างครับ ชุดใหม่ล่าสุดของเค้าเพิ่งฟังไปนิดหน่อยเมื่อวานนี้ ยังจับอะไรไม่ได้มากนัก

สงสัยว่า Alt-Country มันคืออะไรครับ มันคือ Alternative+Country หรือเปล่าครับ?

ใช่ครับ เป็นวงอัลเทอร์เนทีฟร๊อคที่ผสมกลิ่นอายดนตรีคึันทรี่เข้า่ไปด้วยนั่นเอง แนวนี้ค่อนข้างบูมในช่วงต้นไปจนถึงช่วงกลางยุค 90's ครับ (มาพร้อมกระแสอัลเทอร์เนทีฟนั่นแหละ)  :D

ไม่ได้ฟังแนวนี้มาก เลยรู้จักและประทับใจอยู่กับ Cowboy Junkies อยู่วงเดียว เสียงนักร้องหญิงออกเศร้าๆ ฟังแล้วติดใจตั้งแต่ครั้งแรกที่ได้ยินเลยครับ

จริงๆวงที่เค้ายกย่องกันมากอย่าง Wilco นี่ผมฟังไม่ค่อยติดสักเท่าไรนะครับ ผมว่ามันฟังยากไปหน่อยและไม่ค่อยเสนาะหู (หรือว่าหูผมไม่ถึงเองก็ไม่รู้นะครับ) ส่วนวงแนวๆนี้ที่ผมฟังแล้วประทับใจก็เช่น The Decemberists, Dada และ The Mountain Goats เป็นต้นครับ

แล้ววงอย่าง Innocent Mission, Indigo Girls นี่จัดว่าแนวหรือเปล่าครับ?

สองวงนี้ออกไปทาง Pop, Folk มากกว่าน่ะครับ

Indigo Girls เป็นวงโปรดผมอีกวงครับ พวกฝรั่งบางคนแสดงอาการเหยียดหยามวงนี้ว่าเป็นเลสเบี้ยน

ไม่ทราบว่ามีใครติดตามฟังงานของ Neko Case กันบ้างรึเปล่าครับ เธอเป็นหนึ่งในสมาชิกของวงแคนาเดี้ยนเพาเวอร์ป๊อป The New Pornographers แต่พอออกงานเดี่ยวเธอก็ทำงานในแบบที่เธอชอบ ก็คือแนว Alt-Country นี่เอง ซึ่งเท่าที่ฟังมาก็ไพเราะเสนาะหูดีทุกชุดเลยครับ เผลอๆจะเปิดฟังได้บ่อยกว่าวงหลักของเธอเสียอีก
