ไม่กี่ปีที่ผ่านมา ดูเหมือน slowhand ของเราจะมีอารมณ์ถวิลหาอดีตเป็นพิเศษ เริ่มจากการนำเพลงของบรมครู Robert Johnson มาเล่นยกชุด รียูเนียนกับ Cream ดึง Derek Trucks มาแทน Duanne Allman และเดินสายเล่น Layla album ทั่วโลก รวมทั้งบ้านเรา ออกอัลบั้มกับ JJ Cale และล่าสุดก็ไปแสดงกับ Steve Winwood  (นี่ยังไม่รวมงาน tribute ให้ จอร์จ แฮริสัน) ทุกอย่างเป็นการย้อนรอยระลึกเส้นทางเดินบนถนนดนตรีที่ผ่านมาของยอดนักกีต้าร์ผู้นี้

เอ แล้วก้าวต่อไปของเขา ใครจะเป็นเหยื่อ?

2-John Mayall (แกยังอยู่ใช่ไหม)

อาจจะชนงานโซโล่ในยุค 70's มาเล่นกันแบบเน้นๆ ก็ได้ เช่น The Core จากอัลบั้ม Slowhand ที่ผมอยากฟังเวอร์ชั่นไลฟ์ในปัจจุบันมาก ว่าจะมันส์แค่ไหน

สำหรับ John Mayall นี่เคยออกดีวีดีแสดงสดครบอายุ 70 ปี ที่แคลปตันไปร่วมเล่นแจมเมื่อประมาณปี 2001 ออกมาแล้วครับ ดีวีดีชุดนี้ใช้ได้เลยทีัเดียว

ีอีกอย่างที่อยากให้ทำคือขนเพลงเรกเก้สามเพลงจากอัลบั้ม 461 Ocean Boulevard มาเล่นต่อเนื่องกันแบบในอัลบั้มก็ไม่เลวนะ
