Note that this is the only version of The Sky Moves Sideways which includes both "Prepare Yourself" and "Stars Die".

  Unreleased tracks

  Steven Wilson (as well as other band members) have stated in interviews that fifteen songs were recorded for the Deadwing release, however, only nine made it to the album, eleven on the DVD-A release, and two more released on the Lazarus single.

  During a gig for Blackfield, Steven Wilson played one of the unreleased songs solo, and the song is titled 'Christenings'. It was subsequently included on the album Blackfield II.

อ่านจากข่าวว่า Steve Wilson กำลังทำ Remix อัลบั้มของ King Crimson ให้เป็น Format 5.1 ถ้า Fripp เห็นด้วย แฟนพันธ์แท้ของวงอาจจะต้องเสียเงินซื้ออีก 

เปิดดู discography ของ Steven wilson แล้วอยากจะเป็นลมครับ ยังไม่รู้จะเริ่มฟังชุดไหนดี ใครเป็นแฟนเพลงเขาต้องเตรียมเงินไว้เยอะๆ สังเกตดูหน้าปกของ Porcupine tree จะสวยกว่าผลงานอื่นๆ ของเขานะครับ

   ถ้ามีผลงานดีจริงๆ ไม่ต้องเสียดายเงินหรอกครับ
     ลองนึกถึงผลงานของวงโปรด สมัยยุครุ่งเรือง เช่น Yes , Pink Floyd มีใครเสียดายเงินบ้าง

.....ผมก็ฟังแค่สามชุดหลังคับไม่อยากขุดลงไปเยอะ เห็นเขาว่าเหมือนกันคับวงนี้ต้องงานชุดหลังๆ ความรู้สึกส่วนตัวสำหรับวงนี้ พวกเค้าไม่ได้โดดเด่นหรือฝีมือฉกาจมากมาย เขาดึงความสามารถเท่าที่พวกเค้ามีทำเพลงได้อย่างน่าสนใจ ไม่ได้เล่นอะไรที่มันยากและซับซ้อนเกินตัว มันเป็นความพอดีคับ (มันใกล้....Rush)  ที่ผมชอบที่สุด คือการประสานเสียง ชอบชุด Deadwing มากที่สุด

.....Arriving Somewhere DVD ไม่ควรพลาดคับ ผมว่ามันเรียบง่าย แสงสีดูได้อารมณ์มาก โดยเฉพาะแผ่นสอง Cymbal Song เค้าเล่นได้เท่ห์โคตรจิงๆคับ

.....ผมคงจะล่าแค่ซีดีสามชุดหลัง ในบ้านเรามีขายตรงไหนก็บอกกันบ้างคับ ตรง BKP ยังไม่มีเลย (ผมไปนานแล้ว)

ดนตรียุคหลังๆฟังละไมหูดีครับ ผมติดตรงเสียงร้องนี่แหละครับ ยังไมถึงใจเท่าไหร่ ตอนฟังท่อนบรรเลงจะรู้สึกชอบมากกว่าครับ

ชุดแรกๆ กลิ่น Pink Floyd คลุ้งเลยล่ะ หลังๆเริ่มมีแนวทางชัดเจนขึ้น น่าฟังครับ

พึ่งรู้ครับว่า Steve เป็นพี่ชายของ Ray Wilson

อัลบั้มที่ Steven Wilson ไปโปรดิวซ์ให้ Opeth ทั้ง 3 ชุดนี่สุดยอดมากเลยครับ

มีงานที่น่าสนใจของวงนี้ออกใหม่มาอีกชุดครับ คืออัลบั้มไลฟ์ We Lost the Skyline ซึ่งเป็นอัลบั้มอคูสติกไลฟ์ที่มีเพียงเสียงร้องของ Steven Wilson และเสียงกีตา์ร์ืเท่านั้น (ประมาณว่านั่งตีคอร์ดร้อง)ซึ่งผมเองยังไม่ได้ฟัง แต่กำลังสนใจครับ

อย่างที่ทราบกันนะครับว่า Porcupine Tree ในยุคเริ่มต้นนั้นมีเพียง Steven Wilson คนเดียวเท่านั้น ซึ่งเขาเล่นเครื่องดนตรีเองทุกชิ้น โดย Personal Release สองอัลบั้มแรก (+ 1 อีพี)ที่ออกเองนั้นยังเป็นแนวไซคีเดลิก และเขาได้ใช้ชื่อสมาชิกวงปลอมทั้งหมด (แบบเดียวกับวง Gorillaz ของ Damon Albarn) ซึ่งผลงานเหล่านี้กลายเป็นอัลบั้มที่หายากไปแล้วล่ะครับ ผมจึงขออนุญาตเอาภาพอัลบั้มทั้งสองและอีกหนึ่งอีพีมาให้ได้ชมกันครับ (โดยเฉพาะปกชุดแรกนั้นเห็นแล้วจะเข้าใจเลยว่าไอ้ต้น Porcupine Tree มันหน้าตาแบบนี้นี่เอง  :D)

ราคามหาโหดครับจริงๆ แต่ก็น่าจะคุ้มค่าเพราะได้ทั้ง HQCD และ DVD-A ในรูปแบบ Mini Lp

ที่ราคาโหดน่าจะเป็นเพราะแต่ละชุดมีเพลงแถมอีก 1 แผ่นเต็มครับ

เท่าที่ผมอ่านนี่เข้าใจว่าเป็นซีดีอัลบั้ม 1 แผ่น และดีวีดีออดิโอเป็นอัลบั้มในระบบเสียง dts 5.1 อีก 1 แผ่น รวม 2 แ่ผ่น แต่ในดีวีดีออดิโอของวงนี้มักจะมีโบนัสแทร๊คเพิ่ม 4-5 เพลง ใช่หรือเปล่าครับ?

ถ้าเช่นนั้น คงต้องรอแผ่นวางจำหน่ายแล้วดูรายชื่อเพลงก่อนครับ ถ้าเป็นแบบล็อตก่อนที่มีเพลงแถมเต็มแผ่น ก็น่าซื้อ แต่ถ้าเพลงเหมือนกัน 2 แผ่น ก็คงไม่ไหวครับ

ดูจาก HMV Japan เขาเอาชื่อเพลงทั้ง 2 แผ่นมาลงแล้ว เพลงเหมือนกันทั้ง 2 แผ่นเลยครับ

ล่าสุดออกอัลบั้มแสดงสด Ilosaarirock มา แต่ไม่ได้ขายตามร้านทั่วไป

น่าจะเป็นหนึ่งในพาร์ตของ The Incident มากกว่านะฮะ ฮา...

เพลงนี้ให้อารมณ์ไม่พุ่งพล่านมาก เริ่มจากเสียงกีตาร์อคูสติค ซึ่งนับว่าน่าพอใจ

Time Flies เป็นแค่พาร์ทหนึ่งในเพลง The Incident นะครับ รับรองว่าจะต้องมีท่อนที่บีบคั้นกดดันอารมณ์กว่านี้แน่ๆ

ตอนฟังพรีวิวรู้สึกจะมีท่อนอิเลกโทรหลอนๆด้วยนะ ประมาณว่าเป็นเทรดมาร์คตาตีฟน่ะ

    เคยฟังแต่ The Sky Moves Sideways(ชอบครับ) แต่ยังไม่มีแผ่นเสียงครับ ซึ่งก็จะเริ่มตามเก็บจากชุดนี้ก่อน ลำดับถัดไปควรจะเริ่มจากชุดใดครับ

อยู่ที่ว่าชอบดนตรีสไตล์ใหนครับ แต่หากเริ่มจากชุดนี้แล้วชอบ ก็แนะนำชุดถัดไปคือ Signify ครับ เพราะยังมีกลิ่นอายสเปซร็อคลอยๆเข้มข้นอยู่ และถ้าไม่ค่อยถูกกับกีตาร์แรงๆแบบเมทัล ก็แนะนำ Stupid Dream (ที่ออกจะป๊อปสักหน่อย) กับ Lightbulb Sun ตามลำดับเลยครับ     

ตอนนี้ฟังแต่งานเก่าๆสมัย Altamont ไม่ก็ Karma เลยฮะ...
